Luisa Gouveia is senior research at LNEG – National Laboratory of Energy and Geology UBB – Bioenergy and Biorefineries Unit, and in GreenCoLAB – a collaborative laboratory composed by universities, research centers, and companies.

Actually, she is the Portuguese coordinator of Bilateral project Portugal - Servia - “Production of high-value products from novel marine microalgae using green technologies” and Vice-coordinator of Red CYTED P319RT0025 - RENUWAL - Red Iberoamericana para el Tratamiento de Efluentes con Microalgas”.

Won some awards, namely Portuguese Women in Science, 2017.
